TRANSISTOR SPOTLIGHT
Coronado 43-9900

This neat little Japanese-made Coronado transistor is a nice example of a small shirt pocket reverse plastic set. It measures a petite 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 x 1 and is made of black plastic with a cream colored perforated grill area. The upper reverse plastic dial panel features a black background with silver lettering. The lower half of the dial window is a silver panel with a small pointer arrow and the letter “S” in script, presumably the abbreviation for “station.” The lower metal grill area has wraparound sides that give a nice finished look to the front of the set. The information on the inside paper label states that this is a “Coronado 6,” a six transistor set using a 9 volt battery.
